Kathy Maloney

dummy personKatherine (Kathy) Maloney is an accomplished coach, group facilitator, consultant, and trainer with significant experience in human resources, career coaching, leadership development, and organizational development.  She has worked for a variety of organizations in the Greater Boston Area, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA), Fidelity Investments, and BankBoston. 

She was a member of the adjunct faculty at Emmanuel College and has delivered training programs for higher education institutions such as the University of Massachusetts and University of New Hampshire. A seasoned consultant, Kathy’s specialties include career coaching and management, leadership development, and administration/interpretation of assessment instruments. She initiated the launch of an internal career initiative at BCBSMA – “Steer Your Career” — that won a citation for excellence from the American Society for Training and Development. 

Through that initiative, Kathy coached hundreds of leaders and employees to more effectively manage their career goals within the company.  Another project involved managing an innovative job rotational programs that developed leadership capabilities. Kathy earned an MBA from Babson College during which she completed a two-month internship at a multi-national bank in Zurich, Switzerland.  She has a BA in History from Boston College, graduating magna cum laude.  She is an active member of the Human Resources Association of Southern Maine and the Maine Career Development Association, and has published several articles on leadership and career management. Based on the coast of southern Maine, Kathy loves being near the ocean and enjoys yoga, kayaking, and singing in two choruses.  She is also the mentor of a 6th grade girl through York Public Schools.
